Da' Shi'a ISLAM - In a Logical Frame

Imam ALI (a.s.) Mosque, Najaf, Iraq, where HE is buried
The term "Shi'a" was coined by The Prophet MUHAMMAD S.A.W.A for the,
'Followers of Imam ALI Ibn ABU TALIB A.S.'
meaning " an intelligent Group ".
We are the proud followers of
'The FOURTEEN INFALLIBLES'.

"Shia" is the short form of the historic phrase Shi‘atu ‘Ali ,
meaning "the followers of Imam ALI (A.S.)" or "the faction of Imam ALI(A.S.)"

Similar to other schools of thought in Islam, The Shia Islam is based on the teachings of the Islamic holy book, The Qur'an -e- Majeed and the message of the final prophet of Islam,Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.A). In contrast to other schools of thought, Shi'a Islam holds that Muhammad's family, the Ahl al-Bayt ("the People of the House of Prophet Muhammad"), and certain individuals among his descendants, who are known as IMAMS, have special spiritual and political authority over the community. Shia Muslims further believe that Imam ALI, Muhammad's cousin and son-in-law, was the first of these Imams and was the rightful successor to Muhammad(S.A.W.A) and thus reject the legitimacy of the first three Rashidun caliphs, who for the sake of  illegally acquiring the throne of  Islam after the unfortunate demise of the holy Prophet of Islam, which should actually be inherited by Shahzadi FATIMA ZEHRA (S.A.W.A) and Imam ALI Ibn ABUTALIB (A.S.),the children of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.A),as was declared by the Prophet Himself before His transition to the 7th Heaven, but this fact was denied by these 3 Rashidun caliphs, who moulded Islamic guidelines in order to satisfy their own interest  irrespective of the truth mentioned in the holy Islamic Book the Qur'an -e- Majeed (through wrong interpretations of the Quranic AAYATs),shown their disbelief  in the Hadits (the guidence and preechings by Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.A) and the Ahl al-Bayt(who by their act guide the Shias).

They aroused disgrace and disrespect among the common mass (Ummat of Islam) against the Shi'as (the followers of the righteous)for their own sake in order to refrain the common mass from being revealed to the truth.Their deeds have been evidently proved.

Shi‘a Muslims believe that just as the Prophet is appointed by God alone, only God has the prerogative to appoint the successor to HIS Prophet. They believe that God chose Imam ‘Ali (A.S.) to be the successor, infallible and divinely chosen.  Since Prophet Muhammad, before His death, appointed Ali Ibn AbuTalib (A.S.) as His successor. However, the three Rashidun caliphs  made arrangements that prevented ‘Ali (A.S.) from being recognised as such for thirty-five years.
When Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.A.)died, ‘Ali (A.S.)and Prophet's closest relatives made the funeral arrangements. While they were buzy preparing His grave, on the other side Abu Bakr, ‘Umar, and Abu ‘Ubayda silently met with the leaders of Medina and finding this sorrowful time as an opportunity to satisfy their own interest, elected Abu Bakr as khalifa ("caliph"). ‘Ali (A.S.) and his family were dismayed, but They accepted this appointment for the sake of unity in the Muslim community [They compromised for the good for muslims - They the TRUE LEADERS].

Although Shi'as have come to account for roughly one-tenth of the Muslim population worldwide, among the 73 sects (Firkas) of the Islam, but they are said Self sufficient and self dependent under the guidence of the righteous of the 14 Infallibles(Masoomeen) of Islam, the Ahl al-Bayt ("the People of the Household of Prophet Muhammad, the righteous successors of the Prophet of ALLAH").
Their religion is based upon rational and relevent logics conveyed to the shia muslims by their Imam through the holy Qur'an -e- Majeed and Hadiths(the guidence and preechings by Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.A)and Ahl al-Bayt(who by their act guide the Shias). No such divine blessing is with any other sect of Islam as for sure from the Almighty.
Shi'a Islam embodies a completely independent system of religious interpretation and political authority in the Muslim world.

The dispute over the right successor to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.A) resulted in the formation of two main sects of Islam, the Sunni, and the Shi'a. The Sunni's, or followers of the caliphate and they maintained the premise that any devout Muslim could potentially become the successor to the Prophet of ALLAH  if accepted by his peers.
The Shia's however, maintain that only the person selected by the God and as announced by the Prophet could become His successor, thus Ali (A.S.) became the religious authority for the Shi'a people.

Many Sunni rulers perceived the Shi'a as a threat – both to their political and religious authority, the Sunni rulers under the Umayyads sought to marginalize the Shi'a minority and later the Abbasid caliphs turned on their Shia allies and further imprisoned, persecuted, and killed Shias brutally in a massive movement with no valid, relevent or logical reason. The persecution of  Shi'as throughout the history by Sunni co-religionists has often been characterized by brutal and genocidal acts (Inherited Enemity). Comprising only about 10-15% of the entire Muslim population, to this day, the Shi'as remain a marginalized community in many Sunni Arab dominant nations with denied rights to practice their religion and organize.

At various times many Shi'a groups have faced persecution and is still persisting at varied pace, at distinct parts of this unjust world since the martyrdom of  IMAM ALI ibn ABUTALLIB (a.s.).
click the link  below for the list of persecutions done to the innocent Shi'as merely because of their identity as a Shi'a Muslim.

Lakhs of salutations upon IMAM HUSSAIN ibn ALI (a.s.) the Grandson of  Prophet of Islam and His companions for They  had sacrificed their lives for the protection and survival of the TRUE ISLAM on the ground of KARBAL'AH and hence dictated us the lessons to live and lead our life towards  the noble purpose of Islam.

To put an end to this and to mark a full stop to this persecution, we the TWELVERS  are awaiting the reappearance of our last twelfth Imam and the final progeny of the Prophet of ALLAH as selected by the ALMIGHTY and preannounced by the Prophet himself in His life, They called "AL MEHDI"  (a.s.) "The Guided One ". namely IMAM OF THE PRESENT TIME - IMAM MEHDI AKHIRUZAMA ibn HASAN AL ASKARI (a.s.),also got His name as  MUHAMMAD, as per the Prophet of the ALMIGHTY,who will reappear from the major occultism GHAYBAT -AL KUBRA'A, and will rule the earth for about seven or nine years and will restore justice and humanity to this unholy world, and will bring the true culprits to justice and certainly will  restore the REGIME of the ALMIGHTY upon the earth which is the ultimate mission of the holy Islam, just before the JUDGEMENT DAY - YAUM AL QAYAMAH.

Pray " May ALLAH hasten HIS REAPPEARANCE " amen.
